It's Official - We'll Be Back!

On April 15th, we filmed the final episode of our first season. It was a bittersweet night as we celebrated several months of hard work, but were also starting to feel the impending separation anxiety of not being with our TV family every day! As we took our final curtain call and thanked our audience for another night of laughs, the visiting team from YTV stepped forward to share some big news. We'll be coming back for season two - and we are stoked!

From the premiere of our first episode on March 1st, it's been a crazy ride. We've had an opportunity to work with a group of wonderful guests stars and we've met some great fans. By the time we aired 'Mr. DNA', we'd become the top show on YTV and couldn't have been more amazed. 

With six episodes set to roll out over the summer, we hope to continue to entertain fans with our antics. Expect to see everything from ballet tutu's to Romeo and Juliet! Filming for season two will start up again in early July, which means that we'll have new stories and more opportunities for local fans to join our studio audience on Friday nights. We'll share all the details on Facebook and here, so stay tuned - school will be back in session before you know it! 

Echo Goes Bold with Basics

When she's not cheering on the Finnegan Fryers, Echo can be seen sporting some serious fashion must-haves! This Spring, it's all about bright colours and layers. The Mr. Young costume department has it all figured out, bringing fresh, fun pieces that Echo can pull together for a look that gets noticed.

Echo pairs a plum skirt with a stellar tangerine tank, both base pieces with pop. Her striped leggings bring focus to the volume of the skirt and look great tucked into a pair of casual mid-calf boots, which keep the outfit from coming off as too sweet. The gray cardigan and scarf add depth and interest, while also keeping her warm during the transitional days between Spring and Summer. 


If you're not feeling overly daring, try a variation of this look by pairing solid tights with a fun sock layered over, for just a hint of pattern. Colourful separates can also be worn with a more neutral palette, like khaki, army green or gray.


You'll find bright basics in every favourite fashion haunt. On trend items line the shelves of many popular chains, but be sure to also hunt down some great investment pieces, like sturdy boots or cashmere sweaters, that you can build a wardrobe around. Check back for regular style features that break down what our cast wears both on and off camera!
